We would like to thank our dental families for your understanding and patience during this event. Your overall kindness and support during these uncertain times has been both overwhelming and appreciated! As a dental office that has been in business for nearly 18 years, we consider you a part of our extended family, and it is our goal to continue to provide you with the best possible care.
As we begin the process of re-opening the office to all patients, we want to assure you that the health and safety of our patients and employees is of great importance to us. We have implemented several new safety measures that will help to balance the need for patient care, while maintaining the safest environment possible for all.
AN OVERVIEW OF OUR PLAN TO RE-OPEN THE OFFICE
The office will re-open on Monday, May 18th. The new office hours will temporarily be Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am to 5:45 pm.
If your appointment was rescheduled and you are due to be seen, please call us. The phone lines may be busy, as we have many patients to reschedule. But if you leave us a message, your call will be returned as soon as possible.
Safety measures that have been implemented:
Safety Glass Barriers - You will notice some visible barriers at the reception desks.
Office Air Filtration - System that uses bipolar ionization to filter the air throughout the office.
Staff Health Screenings - All staff have daily health screenings and temperature checks to ensure they are feeling well and are symptom-free of illness.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Staff will be wearing surgical masks, face shields, long lab coats, and other PPE during your visit. All PPE, including the lab coats, are changed out between each patient.
Fewer Patient Appointments - We are now limiting the number of patients that are allowed to enter the office. This is to provide extra time for additional sanitation measures and social distancing that must be maintained between patients. We ask that you come to your appointment alone unless you are escorting a minor. Please wear a mask to your appointment. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you.
Patient Health Screenings - There are reserved parking spaces close to the building entrance for you to use. Once you have arrived, call the office from your vehicle for a verbal health screening. Someone will then meet you in the corridor of the building to take your temperature. If it is determined that it is safe for you to be seen, you will be brought inside for your dental visit.
If you, or the person you are escorting, have a fever or have been in contact with someone ill, please stay home and call to reschedule your appointment. You must be fever free for at least 3 days and have not had contact with anyone who has been ill within the last 14 days.
Change to Dental Treatment - We have temporarily changed some procedures to eliminate or greatly reduce aerosols that are typically created during dental appointments. This will in no way compromise the quality of dental care you receive.
